Step 5: Go to ClustrMaps’ opt-out form

To submit a removal request, navigate to the opt-out page.

Step 6: Fill in the Removal Request form

Enter your full name exactly as it is written in the record, a valid email address, the record URL you copied earlier, and your home address. Then click the “Next Step” button.

Pro tip: We recommend creating a separate email account, that doesn’t disclose your personal details, for opting out from people-search sites. This action will prevent these sites from collecting and possibly displaying the email you use for personal and business purposes. You can also use a disposable email. However, make sure to finish the opt-out process before your account automatically disappears.

Note that removing your profile from data brokers does not equal immediate removal from Google. The links to your removed profiles can remain visible in Google search results for some time after they have been deleted from a people-search site. It takes up to several days for Google to update its search results and exclude links to your deleted listings. You can speed things up by using Google’s outdated content removal tool.
