Yelp.com and the Yelp mobile app publish crowd-sourced reviews about local businesses.
Bonus tip: While there are a lot of online platforms out there that can put your information at risk when it comes to privacy violations, they pale in comparison to data brokers. Whitepages, Mylife, Spokeo, and many others store your personal information and publish it online without your consent. If you are looking to delete any of your numerous online accounts, take time to find out which data broker sites sell your information on the web.
How to delete Yelp.com account?
1. Log in to yelp.com.
2. Open the Yelp Account Closure page.
3. Enter a reason for deleting your account. Click “Send.”

4. Open your email box. Find an email from Yelp.com. Don’t forget to check your Spam or Junk folder if you can’t find the email.
5. Click the confirmation link. It’s the link near the bottom of the email, just above the “Thank you” signature. It will take you to the confirmation page.

6. Click “Close account”.

Wait for your content to be deleted. Once you confirm that you want to close your account, your data will begin to be deleted. This process does not happen all at once, but over the next week or so all of your photos and reviews will be deleted from Yelp.
